About TAAP

TAAP – Fitting into the Admissions Puzzle:
The Tufts Alumni Admissions Program (TAAP) has grown from
a handful of alumni volunteers in 1959 to an international network of
over 3,200 members.
By interviewing prospective students and assisting with both recruitment
& enrollment initiatives, TAAP volunteers thoughtfully donate their time
& energy to generate excitement about Tufts and to support the
University’s admissions goals in their home area.
Members of TAAP are valuable for both their knowledge of Tufts and the
example they set as successful graduates of the University. TAAP
personalizes the admissions process for applicants and helps to create
positive word-of-mouth traffic about Tufts.
TAAP – Identifying & Inspiring Students that Fit:
Acting as a face for Tufts, TAAP responsibilities
include:
• interviewing applicants,
• representing Tufts at college fairs,
• participating in Tufts on Tour recruitment events.
TAAP allows alumni to share and celebrate their own Tufts experience
while also empowering them to connect with and share the Tufts
experience as it exists today. While meeting with students and
championing Tufts in their home areas, TAAP members are uniquely
positioned to highlight the qualities of the students they meet and to
share the intangibles that might make them wonderful fits for Tufts.
TAAP is a wonderful gateway to discovering the satisfaction that comes
from supporting Tufts. Please Join TAAP and realize the opportunity you
have to connect more deeply with both Tufts and your home community.
