This fall, the
admissions staff has embarked on as rigorous a travel schedule as
can be remembered. Forty-four states are being visited, including
Alaska and Hawaii, and nearly 55 student parent meetings are being
held. Our international travel expanded this year to include trips
to Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Both the Asia
and Latin America trips were done in a group format so our
admissions officers traveled with representatives from other
colleges and universities. This is a continuation of our
exploration.
The participation by TAAP members in student parent meetings is very
helpful in improving their success. We hope you will participate in
these meetings when they are in your area!
The early reports from the road have been highly positive - large
groups at student parent meetings and at school meetings. Counselors
report that Tufts continues to be high on the lists for many of
their students. We will have a full report of the travel season in
the next issue of TAAP News.
