  Interview Success

Each year, members of the TAAP program meet with thousands of prospective students. This year TAAP chairs assigned more students for an interview. Below is a chart to help highlight this year’s interviewing success.

With nearly 3,500 volunteers in the program, we are especially grateful for the enormous amount of time and effort each active volunteer has given to schedule and conduct the interview and compose a report. Throughout the selection process, the admissions staff paused on the TAAP report which often aided our deliberations. We appreciate the care you spent in crafting your reports this season as the quality and usefulness of the reports was noted by many staff members here in Bendetson.

As we made the very tough choices of which students to select at regular decision, where we admitted about one quarter of the applicants, there were many terrific candidates we were unable to offer admission. We hope the report on the Class of 2011 will help to put the competition into perspective.

Again, we appreciate the time each member has dedicated to connecting with candidates for the next class whether it is an interview, a congratulatory phone call or a conversation at an admitted student reception. Thank you!
